We are an American nationalist party, first and foremost, and believe that any and all actions taken by the government should serve to benefit the whole country, not special interests.
Free Speech
We believe in total and unrestricted freedom of speech. We hold political correctness and sensitivity in low regard, as we recognize that getting offended is not the end of the world.
Gun Control
We believe in the second amendment, and will always protect each citizen’s right to protect themselves with lethal force. (At least G.I. soldier level equipment and arms)
Crime
We believe in capital punishment, and government-run labor camps for serious violent offenses.
Drugs
We recognize the failure of the War on Drugs and seek more effective ways of curbing drug use while also not criminalizing harmless recreational substances.
Civil Rights
We believe in the rights guaranteed by the constitution. We do not believe in affirmative action.
Environment
We recognize global warming, and believe the safety of the planet should not be sacrificed for private interests.
Religion
We believe in a government which stays true to America’s christian origins and traditions, yet we do not believe in an official state religion. We believe in a secular state.
Economy
Budget & Policy
We believe in state-sponsored capitalism and state sponsored socialism, and broadly in a mixed market economy. We believe private entities should serve the country, as opposed to the country serving private entities.
Business & Worker's Rights
We believe that there exists a common ground for both employer and employee, to ensure maximum productivity. Generally, we support labor unions.
Minimum Wage
We believe in raising the minimum wage gradually in capitalist markets where the cost of living exceeds the annual income generated by the existing minimum wage.
Tax Reform
We believe in an end to cronyism, and a more hardline stance on the taxation of corporations. We are open to various methods of taxing individuals that respect their earned income and their duty to the state.
Earned Benefits & Welfare
All citizens who are able, should be obligated to work, no matter what. We believe people should only be paid for productive work.
Technology & Infrastructure
The Federalist Party recognizes the fact that one of America’s defining traits is our propensity towards innovation. In that vein, we believe in federal grants towards advanced technology, more funding to NASA, and increased funding and attention towards our infrastructure.
Social Issues
Education
We believe in free, government provided K-12 education, and free community college, paid for by federal subsidies to state governments.
Health Care
We believe in a single-payer, state-owned system.
Abortion
We believe that life begins at conception, and that barring cases of mental retardation, rape, or incest, abortion should be criminalized.
Gay Marriage
We believe in the strength in the traditional family, that marriage consists of one man and one woman, and that gay relationships should not be recognized by law as matrimony.
Foreign Policy
Interventionism
We believe in international intervention if and only if threat to Americans abroad is at stake. No longer must American troops be sacrificed for private interests.
Trade
We believe in protectionism, but also stress that it should be practiced as seldom as possible.
Immigration
We believe in our right as a nation to choose who enters this country. Generally, we believe in choosing only immigrants with viable skills. We believe in strengthening our border through a massive wall on our Mexican border, and the deportation of all illegal immigrants with few exceptions.
